The Civil War in Syria
Syria is on fire... Again. After the Syrian Civil War that started in 2011 ended in 2023 with the unexpected victory of the rebels, the then-established Syrian Republic has failed to the live up to the expectations, and now it is in another civil war, but this time it is even bloodier, with an even bigger humanitarian crisis, and more interests at stake. The capabilities and teams of the actors involved are way more different than the previous civil war, because of the newest developments in the area in terms of energy. After an extraordinary event occurred in Syria, the Security Council is in session to prevent the biggest crisis the Middle East has ever faced. Will it succeed in getting to a solution?
